A 2022 CBS News article referenced an estimate that there were 30 trillion unredeemed airline miles sitting in accounts as of 2018. Additionally, a 2019 Bankrate study discovered that nearly half of U.S. adults participating in airline and hotel rewards programs have let their rewards expire. This article also referenced a 2017 finding that 1 in 5 participants have never redeemed a single reward. Why is this? Well, a 2019 J.D. Power study on airline loyalty satisfaction found that 45% of program members simply don’t understand how to redeem them.

Let’s not allow this to happen to you!

STEP 1 – Evaluate Your Holdings

Are you loyalty members with any airline, hotel, or rental car programs?

Do you have any point or mile balances with any programs or transferable point programs, such as Chase, AMEX, Capital One, or Citi?

STEP 2 – Determine Your Goals

Do you have a trip in mind or already in the works?

Are you flexible and curious where you could go and how your balances could help you get there?

STEP 3 – Run the Numbers

Using resources at my disposal, I’ll be happy to evaluate scenarios with your current trip. Or, I can give you a couple options (of many) for future places to go.

STEP 4 – Book Your Trip or Dream for the Future

Whether your points and miles can help you with your trip or not, I’d love to work with you on any other aspects necessary, such as accommodations, activities, rental cars, insurance, and more. Learn More about how I can help you as a travel advisor and fill me in your trip plans below.
